Gridmatic is looking for a highly motivated Business Development Analyst to support our growth initiatives. This individual will leverage their background in the electricity sector to guide our expansion into new markets and enhance our product portfolio. The responsibilities encompass developing and executing strategies, fostering industry partnerships, and aligning our goals with market demands.

    • Market Analysis: Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers, and meet regularly with managers and stakeholders to discuss strategy. Evaluate the competitive landscape and assess market feasibility for new product offerings.
    • Business Planning and Financial Analysis: Create detailed business plans, including financial modeling, to guide decision-making and investment prioritization. Model the financial returns of new products and services.
    • Business Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth. Prepare development plans and forecast sales projections.
    • Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine Gridmatic's product offerings based on market insights and customer needs.
    • Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders, utilities, regulators, and technology providers to support business objectives.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on energy industry regulations and compliance standards to ensure Gridmatic's offerings meet all requirements.
    • Communication: Represent Gridmatic at events such as exhibitions and conferences.


    • Bachelor's degree in a related field; an MBA or advanced engineering degree is a plus.
    • 2 - 5 years of experience in the electricity industry, with a strong background working in energy asset development, utilities, energy finance, or doing market-focused analysis.
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
    • Strong project management and leadership abilities, including experience managing cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent communication, analysis, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Track record of developing and implementing successful business development and growth strategies.
    • In-depth knowledge of energy market dynamics, regulations, and emerging trends.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative work environment.
