GroupBy is looking for an Account Executive who can communicate effectively in Spanish as our business is expanding in LATAM.

Our Account Executives both prospect (self-sourced) and receive qualified leads by working closely with the marketing team. The ideal candidate will blend strategic thinking, entrepreneurial spirit and a solid sales background and to deliver on selling GroupBy’s full product suite. 

The Job
You will work closely with prospective customers as a trusted advisor to deeply understand their unique company challenges and goals. You will consult with customers to formulate solutions that will help them reach their business goals. You will contribute to our business growth in a fast-paced, collaborative, and fun atmosphere as a valued member of the GroupBy Sales team.
The Account Executive will manage the entire sales cycle from finding a potential client to securing a deal. You will also unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turning new clients  into long-term partnerships.
Note: This position will require 15-20% travel when it is safe to do so.

What You'll Be Doing

    • Inspire and educate prospects on the value of our product suite
    • Drive revenue generation for GroupBy through qualifying and closing new business
    • Understand lead qualification and work with marketing and sales development to refine processes and accuracy through data-driven decisions
    • Track all prospecting and account data in Salesforce to ensure efficiency throughout the sales cycle by keeping your pipeline organized and updated
    • Understand and work in all aspects of the sales cycle, including qualifying leads, delivering presentations/demonstrations, RFP responses, negotiations, and the closing process
    • Communicate effectively and professionally in all manners of prospect communication
    • Develop strong relationships with key clients that will generate revenue as new features go-to-market
    • Meet or exceed revenue quota goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
    • Proactively collaborate with management, legal and finance to ensure proper execution of documents and correct process
    • Engage and work with cross company internal business partners where appropriate

Skills You Have

    • 5+ successful years software sales
    • Strong boardroom presence and excellent communication skills 
    • Ability to negotiate and build trust quickly
    • Can-do, positive attitude 
    • Strong problem resolution skills
    • Sense of urgency and tenacity
    • Familiar with account management software like Salesforce 
    • Ambitious and driven to succeed
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Results oriented and business savvy

Nice To Have

    • Experience working with the e-commerce industry
    • Previous experience working in a startup environment
    • Saas sales experience
