We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Director of Global Finance to lead and support financial operations across our global business, with a strong focus on North American activities. This role requires a finance professional experienced in public company environments, regulatory reporting, and cross-border operations.
The ideal candidate will bring deep financial acumen, operational insight, and a strong knowledge of financial governance and M&A, all within a dynamic, high-growth environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and manage day-to-day finance operations across global entities, with emphasis on North American financial activities
- Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP and public company standards
- Support SEC reporting requirements and coordinate with external auditors for quarterly and annual audits
- Collaborate with global accounting teams to ensure accurate financial consolidation and intercompany transactions
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for North America and contribute to global financial planning
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing actionable insights to senior leadership
- Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures in accordance with SOX compliance
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure tax and statutory obligations are met across jurisdictions
- Support treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and foreign currency management
- Lead or support financial integration activities for newly acquired entities
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
- Minimum 7+ years of finance/accounting experience, with at least 5-10 years in a publicly listed company
- Experience with North American financial regulations, including U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance
- Strong understanding of global finance operations and intercompany accounting
- Proven ability to operate across time zones and partner with international teams
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and consolidation tools (e.g., FloQast, Workiva) a plus
- Excellent communication and analytical skills with a strategic and process-driven mindset

$180,000 - $290,000 a year
