Head of Enterprise Sales

Our company’s Enterprise Sales team needs a motivated, results-driven Head of Enterprise Sales to lead the department and to develop and implement an effective enterprise sales strategy. A successful candidate will understand what motivates our clients to implement our solutions and knows how to tap into those needs and desires in an effective way. You will be responsible for leading an experienced team of Business Developers. We are looking for somebody with a history of successfully meeting and exceeding enterprise sales goals.


    • Create a strategic sales plan, protocols, and procedures designed to improve our enterprise sales engine and improve sales interactions
    • Train members of the enterprise sales team in best practices and use emerging technology and intelligence to improve our sales numbers
    • Increase product knowledge among sales associates and advise senior management in product knowledge initiatives based on learning from interactions with clients
    • Take over management of enterprise sales staff as well as the hiring of additional sales professionals
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients, including negotiating and closing on major contracts
    • Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and training needs
    • Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
    • Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes, and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
    • Partner with different teams to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients
    • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders
    • Collaborate with the training teams to ensure the right learning journey is created and executed on-time and as agreed
    • Identifying new business opportunities and new ways to reach existing clients
    • Meeting with warm lead to advise on the possibilities of the program and remove barriers to purchase
    • Reaching annual sales targets
    • Help improve brand awareness in cooperation with the marketing department


    • You have hunted down a bachelor's or master's degree in Business administration (or something along those lines)
    • Previous experience in a senior sales role with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets
    • 7+ years’ experience in B2B sales
    • 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory role 
    • 3+ years’ experience in enterprise sales 
    • Understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
    • Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose training-based solutions for clients
    • Strong prospecting skills and excellent closing skills
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Scale-up experience is a plus
