We seek someone in this role to coordinate client proposals and work on the marketing team. We will teach you how to do it!
You will be highly attentive to detail, have an outgoing personality, and want to learn about a new Industry. 
 
Please apply if you live in the San Diego County area of Southern  California and need to be in the offices now and again, working from home most of the time. 
 
We are sorry, but out-of-area candidates cannot be considered. We need someone to come to trade shows with us, work with the engineers to assemble proposals, and be present locally in San Diego County for events.
  
General Technology Solutions (GTS) has a fantastic opportunity for a Proposal Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be based in Southern California. 

What will you do?
Participate in meetings with engineering/planning professionals and project teams. Research business opportunities and assist in strategy development. 
Coordinate, format, write, edit, and proofread proposals, statements of qualifications, and related marketing materials. 
Facilitate interview preparations for project teams, coordinate with graphic designers to produce presentations, and oversee the final production of presentation materials.
 Update and maintain the marketing database's project, employee, and client data. 
Edit/proofread miscellaneous technical letters, reports, and other materials. Coordinate special projects/events as needed. Participate in industry events/exhibitions. 
The successful candidate will have Superior attention to detail, the Flexibility to periodically be in the office (once per week), Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, Strong organizational, writing, editing, and proofreading skills, the ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple assignments concurrently, and love what you do! 
 
It would be a plus if you knew the A/E/C industry (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction 1 year of marketing-related activities, but optional.
