Position Summary: We seek a Senior Account Manager to join our Business Management department. In this role, you will manage assigned clients and entities' day-to-day business, personal, and financial affairs. The Senior Account Manager will supervise a small staff of Bookkeepers. 

Requirements

    • 3-5+ years of experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping for high net-worth individuals within the business management field.
    • 3+ years of experience in client services.
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related area.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of the general ledger, AP/AR, insurance, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial statements.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and knowledge of accounting principles.
    • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, sense of urgency, and ability to follow through.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities and customer service skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with utmost security and tact.
    • Commitment to professionalism, timeliness, and accuracy.
    • Familiarity with Datafaction, AgilLink, and/or Imaging Software is highly preferred.

The responsibilities of this position involve:

    • Manage daily client activities, such as requests, and ensure timely follow-up on all outstanding matters.
    • Oversee AP/AR, cash receipt and journal entry coding, general ledger, payroll, and review of financial statements.
    • Review bank balances and statements and approve transfers as needed.
    • Monitor credit card activity, fraud alerts, and credit score issues.
    • Supervise and mentor designated staff.
    • Communicate with Partners, staff, and clients regarding business management and financial matters.
    • Delegate work amongst staff and collaborate with team members to ensure that all tasks are accurate and completed on time.
    • Attend client financial meetings and review client meeting packages for accuracy and content.
    • Network and participate in professional groups/societies.
    • Keep track of insurance renewals and claims.
    • Assist with home and car purchases and other projects whenever required.
    • Stay up to date with industry developments and best practices.
$90,000 - $120,000 a year
The annual salary target for this job in this market is $90,000 - $120,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the market demand, education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
