Hadrian builds software-defined high precision component factories for the top aerospace companies in the world. After a successful customer beta phase, we are substantially scaling our operations to our second factory (based in Torrance) and are in the final stretch of building our core software engineering and product team from whom the future of Hadrian will be built upon. This team will leverage various current and advanced technologies and build custom in house software solutions to help improve, automate and scale the future of manufacturing in the U.S.

We are in search of individuals with the drive to augment manufacturing heping enable our engineers build complex, yet elegant software as well as the machinists who have a passion to push the trade forward.

More about Role:

Hadrian’s mission is to reshore American manufacturing and support our country in doing whatever we can to win Space Race II. We are looking for ambitious, talented engineers to roll up their sleeves and serve as the critical intermediary between our customers and our internal teams to provide customers with the parts they need to launch rockets into space. In this role, we’ll train you on the most cutting-edge technologies and you’ll have a front-row seat on software-hardware innovation in manufacturing.

In this role you will:

    • Evaluate incoming RFQs from customers and evaluate Hadrian’s ability to service each component, including using our internal ERP software, Flow, to identify inventory needs
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports
    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and sales, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products
    • Evaluate and improve existing designs, processes, and systems to enhance product performance, reliability, and manufacturability
    • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and internal developments in capabilities, including changes in technology, materials, and manufacturing processes

Requirements for the role:

    • Minimum of 0-3 years of experience in designing mechanical parts for aerospace applications or a degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
    • Experience with 3D modeling and simulation software, such as SolidWorks, NX, and Fusion360 is preferred
    • Knowledge of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Compensation and Benefits:
For this role, the target salary base is $75,000 - $100,000 (actual range may vary based on experience).
