Who we are

We're building a prayer and meditation app. One that is authentically Christian and Catholic, while at the same time a resource for anyone looking to grow deeper in a relationship with God. We believe that people are hungry for peace, and that there is no surer way to find it than by learning to sit in silence with Christ: “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest” (Mt 11:28).

We launched the app in December of 2018 and have been blown away with the incredible growth & traction. Hallow has been downloaded over 15 million times with over 250,000 5-star reviews. Tldr: We are looking for an International Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to shape and direct the marketing strategies that will drive our brand forward on an international scale.

What You'll Do

    • Strategic Leadership and Coordination: You’ll report to the Head of International while closely collaborating with the Head of Marketing and the Art Director. In this position, you’ll coordinate cross-functional initiatives with the international market General Managers to ensure alignment on ad creative, social media strategies, and lifecycle marketing execution.
    • Process Optimization: We’ll look to you to develop and refine processes for key marketing tasks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across international markets. You’ll Serve as a key facilitator and "scrum master" for the international market's design asset requests, supporting paid marketing creative pipelines, content illustrations, and other ad hoc requirements.
    • Social Media and Marketing Execution: You’ll oversee and implement a coordinated social media growth strategy tailored for diverse international markets, ensuring that all social media and lifecycle marketing strategies are culturally adapted and effectively executed to maximize engagement and growth.
    • Collaboration and Support: We’ll expect you to facilitate seamless communication and project management across teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials and strategies. You’ll also work with the Head of International, international marketing leads, and others to synchronize marketing efforts and share best practices across regions.

    • Passion: First & foremost, we’re looking for someone excited about our mission. It makes it a lot more fun :) 
    • Bilingual: Because of the international nature of this position, we have a strong preference for a candidate who is bilingual in English and one of: Spanish, Portuguese, German, or French.  
    • Experience: 2+ years of experience in audience management, especially through lifecycle marketing and social media copywriting. Bonus points if you have experience managing influencer relationships or have scrum master/program management certifications.  
    • Communication: You’re an expert communicator and conversationalist. Being able to communicate, negotiate, and build relationships across the organization is essential. Experience with influencer marketing, partnerships, or relationships with Catholic and Christian institutions in our main markets is a huge bonus. 
    • Grit & detail-oriented: We really care about what we’re doing & try to build as fast as we can. Since we’re guiding meditation and competing with some large players in the market (Calm, Headspace), we have to stand out. Everything we do, say, send, or spend money on should be top-notch quality and set Hallow apart as the best.

    • Flexibility: Hallow HQ is in Chicago but we are open to candidates from all over the world. We want our staff to be close to the people we are reaching! However, this role will also require some late afternoon/early evening work in order to maximize overlap with the U.S. Central Time Zone.
$55,000 - $65,000 a year
This position is a full-time role with benefits. The actual amounts could be anywhere within the stated range, dependent on experience. In addition, compensation includes equity. The above range only includes cash compensation. Each full-time employee also receives significant equity compensation, which has the potential to be the biggest economic benefit of joining Hallow, alongside a top-tier benefits package.

The above range for cash compensation will be split between a base salary and target annual bonus. These ranges are initial estimates for a US-based candidate. They may vary depending on market or location and may be adjusted depending on the person we end up hiring for this role, their experience, and market dynamics.
