We are looking for a motivated and analytical FP&A Lead to join our Finance team and contribute to our financial planning and analysis efforts. The Lead will support the FP&A team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This role involves data analysis, financial modeling, and collaboration with various departments to ensure accurate financial information is available for decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a passion for modelling.

Responsibilities

    • Financial Modeling, Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario planning.
    • Support the development and maintenance of budgets and forecasts, ensuring they align with strategic goals.
    • Communicate budget and forecast updates effectively to various departments.

    • Financial Reporting & Data Analysis:
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including consolidation, variance analysis and financial metrics.
    • Conduct detailed financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Leverage CRM data to provide insights on customers and sales performance.Analyze financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks and provide insights into business performance.
    • Prepare and deliver presentations using PowerPoint to communicate financial results, trends, and forecasts to senior management and other stakeholders.

    • Revenue Recognition:
    • Assist in the review and analysis of revenue recognition processes and policies.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
    • Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile and validate revenue data.Knowledge of revenue recognition rules across all three entities (ASC 606 for US GAAP, FRS 102 for UK, etc)

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with various departments to gather financial data and provide analytical support.
    • Communicate financial insights and recommendations clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

    • Process Improvement:
    • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.
    • Participate in the development and enhancement of financial systems and tools.

    • Ad Hoc Analysis:
    • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required by senior management.
    • Prepare and present findings and recommendations to senior management using PowerPoint and other presentation tools.

Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
    • Experience: 2-3 years FP&A specific experience.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
    • Strong skills in PowerPoint or Google Slides for creating clear, compelling presentations
    • Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite) is a plus
    • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Saleforce) is a plus
    • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    • Learning Agility: Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
    • Certifications: Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) is required
€65,000 - €75,000 a year
