Summary of Position:
Ballast and HPS are is seeking a savvy IT Support Associate with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills to support the technical needs of our staff and operations of our growing firm. We are looking for a professional, warm, and positive person who is committed to the position long-term and is interested in learning and supporting a growing business as part of a small operations team. Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Serve as primary internal contact for office-wide Information Technology support in conjunction with and at the direction of the IT Manager
+ Works with IT MSP representatives to troubleshoot software issues and maintain overall functionality of office technology equipment
+ Manage office-wide technology in conference rooms, serving as point person for internal and external meeting setup
+ Assist in Google Apps, Box, and other SAAS platform administration, provisioning user accounts and access to folders and email groups as needed
+ Monitor and maintain the performance of printers, phone systems, televisions, and server room equipment
+ Facilitate technology procurement & administration, working with vendors to provide the most effective and cost-efficient supplies for the company
+ Maintain database of assets, keeping inventory of office wide equipment
+ Responsible for training new employees on all technology used in the office
+ Provide general support to the Operations team and assist with special projects as needed
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
+ 2+ years of related experience providing technological customer service support required office support or technology customer service experience required
+ Excellent knowledge of technology, inclusive of hardware, software, and operating systems; experience with the below applications and systems a plus:
o Windows and MacOS operating systems
o Google Apps Workspace for Business
o Microsoft Office Suite, including Office 365
o Adobe Systems
+ Ability to troubleshoot technological issues on a variety of platforms
+ Experience working with vendors and contractors preferred
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
+ High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
+ Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team
+ Ability to take initiative deal with ambiguity and proactively solve problems
+ Ability to maintain composure, a positive attitude, and a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment
+ Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities both internally and externally for our clients
