Summary of Position: HPS is seeking an associate with digital strategy and content experience to join our dynamic Creative team. Associates benefit from immediate client exposure and opportunities for professional development, while working in a fun, dynamic, and challenging environment. Associates work closely with designers and support directors, managing directors, and partners across multiple teams or projects, supporting both client work and the firm's own publications.
A successful candidate has 1-3 years of experience in digital strategy/content/marketing. The candidate must have strong writing and time management skills and the ability to interpret client needs. A successful candidate will be intellectually curious, eager to learn and contribute, work well in teams, and interested in developing creative solutions that help shape public policy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Help conceptualize and implement digital content strategy, through web projects, programmatic channels, and social media campaigns, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
+ Coordinate campaign budgets, assets, and client approvals
+ Analyzing data to make informed decisions on channels, bids, ads, targeting and landing page performance
+ Lead on digital content experimentation, campaign setup, audience creation, creative asset trafficking, ad copy, and campaign KPIs assessment
+ Report and analyze cross-platform performance and identify optimization opportunities to help achieve client goals
+ Work closely with management and designers to ensure high quality of work and that the client's needs are met
+ Collaborate with the team and contribute to the strategic decision-making process when developing recommendations for client or internal projects
+ Draft strategy materials that ensure a high quality of our products, including strategy briefs and creative briefs
+ Follow clients' businesses and industries to maintain a current knowledge base and keep team apprised of new and ongoing developments
+ Inform communication and advocacy strategies with policy expertise
+ Provide feedback to managerial insight/analysis
+ Bachelor's degree
+ 1-3 years of experience managing or executing paid digital campaigns across platforms at a communications agency, creative agency, marking/advertising agency, or in related field
+ Experience reporting on campaign metrics to inform decisions and strategic planning
+ Familiarity with third-party digital ads services for programmatic, audio, and video ads, such as StackAdapt
+ Interest in public policy, broader business and economics trends, and politics
+ Willingness to learn new skills and participate in new projects
+ Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple, competing assignments
+ Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to take initiative; motivated and self-starting
+ Solid presentation skills and strong attention to detail
+ Familiarity with—and interest in—in design software, including Figma, Adobe Suite, or others is a plus
+ Experience or interest in design and data visualizations is a plus
