Head of Marketing at Handoff
In this role, you will own our marketing strategy end-to-end. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll refine the channels that are already working—paid, organic, and social—while standing up high-performing outbound and demand generation programs.
This is an opportunity to help define the future of an entire category, shape our brand, and build a marketing engine from the ground up.
What you'll do
- Launch and Scale Demand Generation: Build outbound and email programs from scratch that consistently generate high-quality pipeline.
- Double Lead Volume and Conversion: Increase leads and conversion across paid, SEO, and social channels, with reduction in CAC payback.
- Drive Product-Led Growth: Design and execute in-product activation, conversion, and upsell loops that fuel expansion.
- Elevate Brand Storytelling: Develop clear, benefit-oriented messaging that resonates with contractors and reinforces our leadership position.
- Mobilize Customer Advocacy: Turn customers into content, community, and referral champions.
- Collaborate with Sales: Work side-by-side with Sales to define ICP, build outbound playbooks, and align on shared performance metrics.
About you
- 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, including at least 3 years in a senior marketing leadership role.
- Proven track record of building and scaling outbound demand generation programs that drive qualified pipeline.
- Experience collaborating closely with Sales teams to define ICPs, build outbound workflows, and align on shared goals.
- Deep understanding of paid acquisition, SEO, social, and in-product growth strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop clear, compelling brand messaging and positioning.
- Expertise in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with experience owning reporting dashboards and KPIs.
- Experience building and leading small, high-performing marketing teams in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (MBA or relevant graduate degree a plus).
