The Harris Poll is seeking a Senior Research Analyst to join our Brand Custom Research Team in a research operations and project management role. The Senior Analyst will work closely with a seasoned team of researchers and project managers and will be part of a driven, self-motivated team.  The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in market research across a variety of primary research methodologies and particularly quantitative research.

We are looking for collaborative, forward-thinking individuals to work with our clients as a partner and steward of high-quality research. The position requires a candidate who is goal-oriented, possesses exceptional attention to detail, and strong analytical skills. It will also require the candidate to support multiple projects and project teams simultaneously. The candidate will also serve as a key client point of contact and, as such, must be able to communicate clearly and be able to answer questions and problem-solve.

Responsibilities

    • Work with senior staff to support all aspects of the research process with excellence (questionnaire development, survey testing, field management and standardized reports)
    • Data check materials to ensure overall quality of client deliverables
    • Work across multiple research projects simultaneously and manage time accordingly
    • Proactively communicate to provide regular updates regarding project status to senior staff
    • Implement process improvements and innovate for efficiencies

Skills and Qualifications

    • At least 3 years of professional survey or market research experience required
    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Hands-on knowledge and understanding of the end-to-end quantitative research process
    • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Detail and results oriented. Strong analytic aptitude.
    • Able to effectively multi-task and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a deadline driven environment
    • High levels of integrity, autonomy, ownership, and self-motivation
    • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and related computer software packages
    • Proficiency in data analysis software such as Decipher, SPSS, a plus

$60,000 - $80,000 a year
In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $60,000- $80,000 USD. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
