As a full-stack engineer, you help build delightful experiences for our members and hosts by building new features, optimizing our core membership offerings, and bringing the same experience to our apps. You have strong engineering fundamentals and have recently been hands-on in modern front-end technologies. You have experience working in an early-stage startup environment and are comfortable with ambiguity and change. Battle-Hardened Experience - You have strong engineering fundamentals and have been writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code for 3+ years. You have experience with modern javascript frameworks (Vue / React) and have experience building RESTful APIs. 

Strong testing discipline - You believe, “If it’s not tested, it’s broken.”

Full-feature ownership - You are comfortable owning a feature across the entire technology stack, from adjusting styles to optimizing a database query.

Kaizen (philosophy of continuous improvement) - You are eager to find ways to improve how we do things. You are a regular participant in code and design reviews. 

Ownership mentality - You are happy to engage at the problem level, communicating directly with our product, marketing, customer service, and finance as needed to discuss prioritization regularly, refine requirements, and develop features.

Curiosity - You are willing to dive into unknown territory and try out that new technology or create a proof of concept for that crazy idea.

Experience building apps in React Native.

Experience with mapping platforms like Google Maps API or Mapbox.

Infrastructure experience with AWS.
