Founded by Uber alumni and venture backed, Haul is looking to rethink the employment model of 3.5 million trucker drivers and support a $800 billion trucking industry in the United States.
Haul maintains office hubs in the Bay Area and Denver, CO.
We’re looking for a seasoned operations manager with experience managing a double sided marketplace to come on board as we hit a hyper growth stage. Our driver operations team runs the driver experience from onboarding, to assignment matching, to on-assignment communications, and you will scale the team and work to hit KPIs around optimizing driver productivity and healthy marketplace activity.
You’ll create SOPs that allow us to scale while still keeping the driver experience a world class one. Driver operations teammates are the front line in communicating with and guiding our drivers through the Haul experience - to our drivers, this team *is* Haul. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into interesting, complex problems!
-Manage our nearshore driver activation and on-assignment teams to optimize KPIs, including our time to getting a driver on assignment, retention
-Deep dive on the driver experience to identify opportunities for improving NPS and increasing driver productivity
-Manage communication channels with drivers, including Aircall, HeyMarket, and Front
-Coordinate with stakeholders in safety and compliance, market operations and sales to ensure that all teams are rowing together - you’ll find situations where workflows and ownership are not yet fully mapped, and you’ll work with other leaders to establish SOPs that touch multiple teams
-Develop nearshore task queues, SOPs and workflows to optimize productivity, improve SLAs and forecast team needs
What you have
-You’re a startup veteran (3-5) with experience in operations and a strong track record of resolving organizational blockers
-Strong data chops: you lead with data and are able to share insights with stakeholders across the organization
-Strong communication and organization skills
-You’re action-oriented and love an interesting problem!
-Nice to have: experience with managing nearshore teams
-Nice to have: experience with Aircall and HeyMarket
