Haul is building a labor marketplace that provides trucking companies in the US with a pool of vetted, on-demand truck drivers to operate their trucks.

Founded by Uber alumni and venture backed, Haul is looking to rethink the employment model of 3.5 million trucker drivers and support a $800 billion trucking industry in the United States.

Haul maintains office hubs in the Bay Area and Denver, CO.

The Launch role reports to the Central Ops Lead and has a direct impact on the success of the
business. You will be directly responsible for the end-to-end project planning, and then execution
of the launch plan. This role requires physical presence in the market for launches as well as 75%
travel. You must exhibit a hands-on management style coupled with the interpersonal skills
necessary to work with driver partners to ensure they are meeting expectations and, when
necessary, coach driver partners to ensure an effective operation.

What you'll do
-Own the end-to-end project plan of all new launches from plan creation to readiness tracking to execution.
-Build and implement scalable operational infrastructure that enables us to meet our aggressive demand goals.
-Work closely with Fleet Partners to negotiate, set up, and launch to locations.
-Ensure we have all onboarding, training, and processes in place for each new city operations transition.
-Execute all tasks necessary to launch a new location ranging from managing the project timeline to acquiring new fleet partners.
-Responsible for the success of each new launch, including meeting all internal deadlines.
-Optimize the launch playbook to ensure each launch is better than the last, sharing learnings across the entire org.
-Communicate with all internal departments to meet expansion objectives.
-Work closely with the Senior Leadership to develop, track, and meet KPIs.
-Bring the magic of the Haul experience to new markets and be the on the ground point of contact for new launches.

Requirements
-1-3 years of operations experience demonstrating willingness and ability to "get your hands dirty". 
-Self starter with ability to lead and shape work in an ambiguous environment.
-Requires 75% travel. 
-Ability to digest complex problems and develop clear actions.
-Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. 
-Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to deliver your message in a way that brings clarity vs. confusion. 
-Experience with cross company collaboration and team management.
-Experience in creating, optimizing and implementing processes.
-Proficiency using Google Suite and Excel.

Haul supports a "hybrid" office model where team members work in the company's offices for at least three days per week and elsewhere for the rest of the week.
