As a Procurement Analyst, you'll support and optimize our procurement operations. This role will play a critical part in analyzing business spend, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and enhancing procurement processes to drive more efficient spending decisions. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, supplier management, and procurement technologies (including Coupa Procure-to-Pay and punch-out catalog integration). This position offers a unique opportunity to improve procurement strategies, streamline purchasing workflows, and enhance procurement visibility for one of the largest owners and operators of manufactured home communities in the U.S.

Responsibilities

    • Spend Analysis & Strategic Procurement
    •  Conduct detailed business spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement decisions.
    • Provide data-driven insights to support category management, supplier negotiations, and procurement strategy.
    • Track spend compliance, identify trends, and work with stakeholders to reduce maverick spending.
    • Support budget adherence by analyzing procurement activities and identifying efficiencies.
    • Procurement Process Optimization
    •  Assist in setting up and managing punch-out catalogs in Coupa, ensuring efficient and user-friendly purchasing workflows.
    • Support Coupa Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, troubleshooting system issues and providing user training.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement more effective procurement channels and sourcing strategies.
    • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance procurement efficiency and vendor management.
    • Supplier Management & Compliance
    • Monitor supplier performance through qualitative and quantitative metrics, ensuring contract compliance.
    • Conduct market research to source potential suppliers, negotiate pricing, and evaluate vendor capabilities.
    • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to resolve invoicing and payment issues related to procurement.
    • Reporting & Data Management
    •  Generate comprehensive procurement reports, including spend analysis, cost savings, and vendor performance.
    • Maintain and update procurement data within Coupa and other procurement databases to ensure accuracy.
    • Prepare presentations, dashboards, and procurement summaries for leadership review.

Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
    • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in procurement, supply chain, or financial analysis with a focus on spend management.
    • Technical Skills:
    •  Proficiency in Coupa (or other P2P platforms) for procurement and spend analysis.
    • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
    • Knowledge of punch-out catalogs, supplier integration, and ERP systems.
    • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze large data sets, identify trends, and drive data-backed procurement decisions.
    • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
    • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot procurement challenges, improve processes, and enhance spend efficiency.
