Strategy is at the base of everything we do at Hawke. As a strategist, you should have C-Suite moxie, creative director chops, seasoned project management skills, and be 110% metric driven. A Hawke strategist digests business intelligence, marketing goals, messaging and production logistics to provide top-shelf strategic executions, right sized for clients’ specific business needs.

Analytics:

    • Extremely strong analytical skills, with a data driven approach
    • Ability to extract trends and insights from complex data sets
    • Understanding of business-related concepts and the interrelationship between key metrics
    • Experience with Google Analytics, and other 3rd party analytic tools

Creative Direction:

    • Understanding of branding concepts and what makes a successful brand
    • Experience guiding creative and visual direction on omni-channel campaigns
    • Familiarity of creative best practices when utilizing Facebook Business Manager, Google Display Network and programmatic ad buying platforms
    • Understanding of brand stewardship and how to grow and protect brand value

Relationship Management:

    • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
    • Ability to have challenging but productive business conversations
    • Passion for building long lasting client relationships across various industries and verticals
    • Experience in account management, business development or customer service

Project Management:

    • Process oriented thinker with exceptional attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask and manage various complex projects simultaneously
    • Experience leading/managing internal or external teams or campaigns while staying on schedule and on budget
    • Proven leadership skills in a results driven environment   

Responsibilities:

    • Act as trusted business advisor and digital strategy expert to internal and external teams
    • Provide cross channel leadership and collaboration; own, drive and direct the success of assigned accounts
    • Hold cross-channel teams accountable to provide complete, A+ work, on time and on point
    • Solve complex problems for clients by understanding their business, its needs and industry and analytic trends
    • Manage multi-channel resource allocation, including spends across digital assets
    • Expand on existing strategies, add new services and research new platforms to create growth
    • Explain complex business and data insights to clients
    • Deep understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem and the full funnel efforts needed to be successful across various verticals/industries

Skills & Experience:

    • 3+ years of marketing, eCommerce and/or business ownership experience
    • Advanced Knowledge of Google Analytics (certification a huge plus)
    • Knowledge of Google Adwords (certification a huge plus)
    • Knowledge of Facebook business manager, shopify and widely used ESPs
    • Identification of a specific specialty (B2C, B2B, client relations, branding etc)  that benefits overall team knowledge and efficacy
    • Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills
    • Strong judgment and the ability to make decisions independently
    • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions
    • Ability to work in a variety of digital media, meet tight deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust as circumstances change
