The Business Development Director is a key member of the firm’s Growth Department who will collaborate with the firm’s Growth professionals, Practice and Industry leaders, and Partners to create and implement strategies to drive strategic and profitable growth for the firm.

This position's key responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

    • Meeting or exceeding annual sales and revenue targets set by firm leadership, primarily for the audit and advisory practices
    • Creating key account plans for prospects and existing clients
    • Making and giving presentations to existing clients, prospective clients, and internal leaders
    • Pipeline management and reporting
    • Inbound lead management and follow-up
    • Building and maintaining relationships with clients, prospects, COIs, and strategic partners through regular outreach and networking to create revenue-generating business opportunities
    • Event attendance, coordination, and support
    • Assisting in preparing sales collateral, proposals, and prospect communication
    • Gathering useful information from client and competitor data
    • Conducting ongoing market research
    • Partnering with Chief Growth Officer to share best practices, improve sales effectiveness, and develop internal training programs 

The key qualifications we are seeking:

    • Bachelor’s degree; master's degree a plus
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience with demonstrated success in a similar professional services role
    • Active network of C-level contacts in and around Los Angeles and the surrounding markets
    • Experience leading complex sales processes that involve multiple team members and decision makers
    • Experience working with middle-market companies
    • Strong executive presence and business acumen
    • Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills
    • Experience using a CRM system to track opportunities and outcomes
    • Strong time management skills 
$180,000 - $230,000 a year
This salary range is specific to the state(s) listed and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill set and education; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the range for this position is $180,000 to $230,000 plus commission.
