How you will help
As a Senior Engineer on the Smart Contracts Manager team you will transform traditional rebate agreements with a self-service, modular contract management platform empowering next generation medical rebate and value based contracts leveraging HealthVerity’s vast Real World Data ecosystem.. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in accelerating our product development efforts and driving continuous delivery of features and improvement. 

Our tech stack:
The Smart Contract Manager team leverages the following technologies in our day-to-day development process: Typescript, React, AWS: Cloud Formation, CDK, Athena, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM, Cognito, S3, Quicksight, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SNS

What you will do

    • Lead the development of new features and enhancements using TypeScript and serverless technologies on AWS
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality software on time
    • Design, implement, and maintain serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and other serverless services
    • Leverage serverless architecture patterns to build scalable, cost-effective applications that meet customer needs
    • Embrace agile methodologies to iterate quickly and adapt to changing requirements
    • Work in sprints to deliver incremental value and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team
    • Identify opportunities to optimize performance and improve efficiency across our serverless systems
    • Implement optimizations to reduce latency, improve scalability, and enhance the overall user experience
    • Work closely with product and other engineering teams to understand requirements, provide technical input, and drive project execution
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the development process

Required skills and experiece

    • 7+ years of experience making full stack contributions to production web applications  
    • Proficiency in React/TypeScript or other javascript frameworks
    • Hands on experience leverage AWS serverless technologies to build 
    • Experience working in a small, fast paced environment that prioritizes the right work for the customer
    • Proven record of driving teams from design phase all the way to customer feedback
$70,000 - $220,000 a year
Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience + annual bonus opportunity.


Hiring Locations
Our strong preference is to hire team members in the Philadelphia area whenever possible. Expansion beyond Philadelphia will occur when necessary with travel to our Philadelphia headquarters as required. Remote work is supported from our key hub locations listed below as well as approved states in the Eastern Time Zone.
