Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate Email Marketing Manager to craft compelling email and SMS campaigns that drive real results for Heard. In this exciting role, you'll lead the development and execution of our email and SMS strategy, focused on growing brand awareness, nurturing leads, and driving revenue.  You'll leverage data to create targeted campaigns (e.g., welcome series, promotional emails) that resonate with our audience and experiment with different approaches to optimize performance.

Responsibilities:

    • Craft high-performing email and SMS campaigns that drive acquisition, conversion, and retention. This includes: welcome series, promotions, pre/post webinar series, weekly newsletter, and more  
    • Partner with the Head of Marketing and Director, Brand to develop email content that is visually appealing and effectively drives the goal of the communication
    • Determine ways to effectively segment our subscriber base and develop personalized campaigns that drive improved engagement and conversion
    • Partner with external partners on co-branded email to cross sell and/or ancillary products to our shared audiences
    • Own email marketing reporting, including the analysis of open rate, click-through rates, and conversions
    • Own an experiment calendar for email and SMS; develop hypothesis, conduct A/B test, and continuously improve our communication strategy
    • Stay updated on the latest email marketing trends and best practices
    • Ensure compliance with spam and privacy regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR)

Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience in email marketing
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful email marketing campaigns
    • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and deliverability
    • Experience with email marketing automation platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign)
    • Knowledge of HTML and CSS for email template customization and mobile optimization
    • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools 
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Excellent copywriting and editing skills
    • Experience with webinar marketing and automation
    • Experience developing and managing co-branded email marketing campaigns
    • Knowledge of marketing automation workflows and triggers

Compensation is variable and is subject to a candidate’s personal qualifications and expectations. For candidates based in the SF Bay Area we offer the following base salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
