Your Role
As Simulation Lead (m/f/d) at Heaten, you will define and drive our simulation strategy, establish best practices, and provide technical leadership to enhance product development, customer solutions, and innovation.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an end-to-end simulation strategy to support product development, optimization, and customer applications.
- Investigate the most valuable simulation approaches for product development and application, focusing on efficiency and accuracy.
- Explore new simulation tools to expand capabilities and enhance product analysis.
- Define standard model validation methods to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Establish best practices for performing simulations effectively.
- Develop standardized methods for analyzing and reporting simulation results.
- Support development teams by providing simulation-based insights for their units.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align simulation tools with engineering requirements and customer needs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the simulation engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Integrate simulation results into sales tools to enhance customer engagement and product demonstrations.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in simulation technologies, applying them to improve product performance and efficiency.
- Communicate complex simulation results and insights effectively to various stakeholders, including engineers, sales teams, and customers.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in process simulation of heat pump systems.
- Expertise in simulation software such as ANSYS, MATLAB, GT-Suite, Aspen, Ebsilon, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in Python for simulation and data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- An innovative mindset with a passion for driving technological advancements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD in a relevant field.
- Experience in the development of high-temperature heat pump systems.
- Familiarity with sales tools and customer application processes.
