We’re a team of 5 Product Designers with complementary skillsets in all fields of the design process, working together to craft the best solutions to the company’s challenges and our user’s needs across Europe and Africa.
In order to empower our team to build better, faster UI and maintain a consistent award-winning branding across all our products, we are currently building the next iteration of Flamingo, our multi-platformed and multi-brand design system.
This role is based in Algiers, open to remote employees in Algeria.

What will be your role?
Being an integral part of our Product Design team, you’ll report to and help our Design System Manager create, manage, iterate and maintain components of Flamingo. To a larger extent, you’ll also take part in the brainstorming and optimisation of our design processes, tooling and operations.
You’ll collaborate and work closely with other product designers and engineers (Web, iOS and Android) to bring the highest end-to-end user (internal and external) experience.
Success in this role is defined by the adoption of our system, the impact on our team’s velocity and sentiment, but also the quality, precision and consistency of your craft.

In a nutshell, you will:
Craft, organise and maintain simple, beautiful and accessible UI components and assets
Contribute and continuously improve the design system’s documentation and guidelines
Conduct internal research and extract usage insights from other product designers
Communicate to members of the design, development and product management teams
Collaborate closely with engineers to understand platform constraints, guidelines and conventions
Help onboard product designers on the latest Flamingo changes, help them follow contribution guidelines
Advocate and educate product designers on UI building best practices in Figma
Explore new ways of solving cross-platform design system problems at scale
Stay informed on the latest design systems thinking, UI patterns and trends, bringing valuable findings back
Help identify and solve design process frictions

Does it sound like you?
You have 3+ years of experience designing products with a some focus on building and maintaining a design system, with a portfolio to demonstrate that
You've got a strong eye for detail and you’re a pixel-perfect enthusiast (layout, color, typography…)
You have expert-level skills in Figma, always on the lookout of its latest features
You're a problem solver: you have an analytical mind and can navigate through complex UI obstacles in a thoughtful and logical way
You're able to clearly articulate and communicate design decisions
You’re a great collaborator and facilitator integrating diverse data points and research into design decisions
You are an empathetic, attentive listener with the capability to identify the needs of partners
You're familiar with our design stack: Figma, Miro, Notion, Maze, Typeform, Dovetail, Slack
You care deeply about usability, accessibility and performance
You have some knowledge of design systems like Material, Spectrum or Apple Human Interface Guidelines
You're fluent in English and French

Bonus points if you have:
Engineering experience
Experience with Design Tokens
Knowledge of the mobility industry
Deep understanding of the latest approaches to the creation, evolution and distribution of design systems
