Who We’re Looking For

Bestow is hiring a self-starter Internal Wholesaler who wants to make a big impact at one of the fastest growing tech startups in Texas. The ideal candidate has experience working directly with Agent Partners and the Agent Experience teams and will use their specialized knowledge and skills to assist the agents in all aspects of the on-boarding and sales process, including product education, competitive analysis and client calls. 

What You'll Do:

    • Establish new relationships and foster existing relationships with agent partners, through proactive telephone calls, emails and arranging virtual meetings
    • Perform consistent follow-up with agent partners to advance sales process and deepen relationships
    • Meet agent expectations to increase the quantity and quality of effective partnerships
    • Provide best in class resources to agents in positioning and promoting Bestow’s products 
    • Participate in cross-departmental projects to gain better understanding of the overall mission of Bestow and our unique digitally enabled offerings
    • Participate in industry renowned training programs to enhance communication and sales skills
    • Establish credibility and build rapport with agent partners
    • Demonstrate excellent listening skills to better assess an agents needs and determine the type of sales support necessary to accomplish the objective and add value to the products 
    • Productively work together and collaborate with other Bestow departments
    • Maintain impeccable follow-up with agents to establish rapport, sustain interest, and manage relationships
    • Remain laser-focused on sales goals through the means of scheduling, follow-ups, “thank you for your business” correspondence and prospecting
    • Effectively partner with internal team members in troubleshooting distribution related issues that arise

What You'll Need:

    • 1-3+ years of life insurance sales experience
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to put innovative ideas into action
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a concise objective
    • Possess strong commitment to team environment dynamics with the ability to contribute expertise and follow leadership directives at appropriate times
    • Superior ability to convey complex financial data into a concise message
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, Communications and/or related field
    • Advanced computer skills
    • Ability and willingness to work off hours, as needed
    • A high level of professionalism and diligence
    • Detail and task-oriented
    • Strong work ethic and a team player
    • Must be a "self-starter" and self-motivated
    • Must have life and health license
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
