Job Type: Hybrid out of Winnipeg, MB (Must be located in Manitoba)
Reports to: President/Co-Founder
Pay: ~$100k CAD + Equity


About the Company: We are partnered with a growing (award-winning) PropTech startup out of Winnipeg, that's empowering the US/CA Real Estate industry by providing cutting-edge technology to elevate property experiences and value for all!

As the company's first in-house software engineer hire you'll play a vital role in helping drive engineering best practices as an intermediate/Sr IC on day one, while also playing a significant role in establishing the short & long-term roadmap for building a successful and scalable in-house engineering team!

Current Stack: .NET, C#, React, SQL, Microsoft Azure

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical leadership as the company transitions away from contracted developers to in-house development
- Actively contribute to product development by setting the standard for code quality and efficiency
- Play an integral part in building and managing the Engineering Team
- Work cross-functionally often working collaboratively with other teams to project manage

Requirements:
- 3+yrs of professional coding experience (PropTech and/or FinTech is an asset)
- Successful development experience working at a growing startup
- Experience leading/mentoring/managing other developers
- Proven track record of building clean deployable code in a .NET, C#, React, SQL, Microsoft Azure stack (or similar)
- Positive can-do attitude focused on results-driven development
- Experience working in several different coding environments is an asset
- Experience in data/tech migration is an asset
