As an Account Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind making sure our clients don’t just renew their contracts—they expand their use of Mongoose solutions and can’t imagine life without us. You’ll own the renewal process and lead all expansion efforts, including upsells and cross-sells, by diving deep into client relationships, uncovering their needs, and helping them achieve their goals with our products. Success in this role will be measured by increasing client retention rates, achieving both your annual renewal , and expansion quotas through adoption and growth of our Conversation Intelligence Platform. If you love building expansion pipeline through strategic account planning and referential selling and have a demonstrated history of exceeding quota, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:
Sell and Renew with Confidence
-Consistently meet or exceed assigned renewal and expansion quotas, directly contributing to company revenue growth targets.
-Develop informed, strategic retention and growth plans for your territory, and execute those plans in partnership with your Customer Success Manager.
-Lead the charge on renewals, ensuring clients feel valued, supported, and excited to sign on for another year (or more!).
-Anticipate and address any potential risks well before renewal time, because surprises are for birthdays, not contracts.
Drive Growth Like a Pro
-Develop pipeline through focussed weekly outbound activities
-Own upsell and cross-sell opportunities by helping clients see how Mongoose can solve even more of their challenges.
-Be a master at expanding our footprint within schools, introducing our solutions to new departments and teams that didn’t know they needed us—until you showed them.
Be the Client’s MVP
-Build rock-solid relationships through strategic outreach and Mongoose Quarterly Reviews (MQRs) that make your clients feel heard, supported, and ready to grow with us.
-Use your deep understanding of client goals and challenges to position Mongoose as an indispensable partner in their success.
-Work in true partnership with a dedicated Client Success Manager (CSM). You’ll drive the commercial strategy (renewals, upsells, expansions), while your CSM partner focuses on adoption, value realization, and day-to-day success. Together, you’re accountable for delivering outcomes that maximize client satisfaction and growth.
Collaborate & Innovate
-Partner with Marketing to ensure your clients know about new offerings, success stories, and exciting updates.
-Collaborate with Leadership to identify risks and develop creative solutions to address challenges or close the deal.
-Bring the voice of the customer to Product, sharing insights and ideas that help us build even better solutions.
Show Up, Stand Out
-Represent Mongoose at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, leaving a lasting impression on clients and prospects alike.
-Be the face of Mongoose for your accounts, turning relationships into partnerships and partnerships into revenue growth, including onsite visits and travel as needed.
Make Data Your Superpower
-Track client health metrics like a pro, using data to guide your conversations and uncover opportunities.
-Keep our CRM squeaky clean (hello, HubSpot!) with accurate records of renewals, upsells, and client interactions.
-Share insights and updates with internal teams to ensure alignment and fuel smarter strategies.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
We’re looking for someone who brings proven experience with renewals and expansion (upsell/cross-sell) in a B2B SaaS environment, along with a track record of consistent quota attainment. If that’s you, keep reading!

-Demonstrated ability to build healthy pipelines and convert with strong win rates

-You know how to sell without feeling “salesy,” positioning solutions in a way that feels natural, helpful, and downright irresistible.

-Experience with CRM systems (bonus points for HubSpot expertise!).

This role's base salary is $70,000 plus a $75,000 variable with on-target earnings (OTE) of $145,000.
