Family Overview:
A busy family of four in Frisco, Texas, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Part-Time Afternoon Nanny to support their two children, ages 5 and 7. The family has a morning nanny, and you will work closely with them during overlap times to ensure smooth transitions and consistent care.

The ideal candidate is experienced with children, able to be kind but firm, and committed to helping raise well-rounded children in a supportive, structured environment. A clean driving record is required.
Flexibility to occasionally cover additional hours when the morning nanny is off is a plus. This role offers the opportunity to build a meaningful, long-term relationship with the family while focusing on hands-on childcare and child development.

Key Responsibilities
Childcare:
- Pick up children from school and transport them to activities
- Assist with homework, including support with Christian-based learning and Bible memorization
- Prepare and serve dinner, ensuring a positive mealtime experience
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, reading, and play
- Support bedtime routines and promote healthy sleep habits
- Foster independence by encouraging participation in age-appropriate tasks
- Provide attentive, nurturing care while maintaining structure, consistency, and clear boundaries
- Light tidying and upkeep of common areas to maintain a safe and organized environment


Additional Information
Vehicle: A family vehicle will be provided for transportation. If unavailable, the candidate may use their own vehicle (car seats provided) with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years of recent childcare/household management experience, including at least 1 year as a professional nanny or private household provider
    • Background in family/household management preferred
    • Experience supporting school-aged children
    • Valid driver’s license; clean driving record; and reliable vehicle with valid insurance (when family vehicle is not available)
    • Ability to pass an extensive background and criminal history check
    • A Non-Disclosure Agreement is required
    • Excellent childcare references (minimum of three)
    • Valid CPR and First Aid certification
    • Up to date on vaccinations; COVID-19 vaccination preferred but not required
    • Strictly non-smoker
    • Authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Willing to commit to a minimum of 1 year for long-term employment
