Location: Spokane, WA 99203
Ideal Start Date: August 25th, 2025
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM/ 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (guaranteed hours)
Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour

About the Family:
A warm and active family of four based in Spokane, WA is seeking a dedicated live-in nanny to care for their two young children, ages 1 and 4. They are looking for an experienced and reliable caregiver who approaches childcare with compassion and a commitment to building strong, meaningful relationships.
The ideal candidate will provide structure, consistency, and creativity in daily routines, and engage the children through purposeful play, outdoor activities, sports, and other enriching experiences that align with their energy levels and developmental needs. Fluency in Spanish is strongly required, as the family values cultural enrichment and hopes to immerse their children in both the Spanish language and diverse cultural traditions.
This role is well-suited for a nurturing professional who seeks to form a deep, lasting connection with the children and become a trusted, long-term part of the family—ideally for a period of 3 to 10 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transporting children to preschool and various activities
- Prepare healthy snacks, breakfast, and lunch tailored to the children’s nutritional needs
- Engage actively with children to support their physical, emotional, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities
- Support Spanish language immersion through daily communication, cultural activities, and age-appropriate storytelling
- Organize and participate in outdoor play, sports, and physical activities that encourage healthy growth and active lifestyles
- Create a safe and stimulating environment that promotes curiosity, learning, and social skills
- Maintain tidiness and organization of children’s areas, including playrooms, bedrooms, and shared spaces
- Perform light household tasks related to childcare, such as children’s laundry and light cooking
- Foster positive behavior and social development through consistent guidance and nurturing interactions
- Travel with the family on vacations as needed to provide continuous care and support
- Collaborate with parents to support children’s routines and milestones
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years childcare or nannying experience (required)
- At least 1 year of full-time nanny experience (required)
- Experience caring for multiple young children simultaneously (required)
- Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
- Previous live-in nanny experience preferred
- Energetic and active person that enjoys outdoor play and physical activities
- Willingness to domestic travel with the family
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Ability to swim
- Fully vaccinated, including COVID-19
- Non-smoker
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
$25 - $30 an hour
The family is open to considering live-out candidates as well.
