Position: Live-In Nanny in Spokane, WA (also considering Live-Out candidates)
Location: Spokane, WA 99203
Ideal Start Date: ASAP, no later than November 24, 2025
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM/ 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (guaranteed full-time hours)
Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour

About the Family:
A warm, active family of four in Spokane, WA seeks a high-energy, bilingual (English–Spanish) live-in nanny for two young children, ages 1 and 4. The ideal caregiver is experienced and reliable, brings structure and consistency, and engages the children in purposeful play, outdoor time, sports, and enriching, developmentally aligned activities. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to lead Spanish immersion with the children and maintain professional communication with parents. The family is seeking a long-term, trusted partnership.

Living Situation:
The Nanny will be provided with a private bedroom and ensuite bathroom located on the main floor of a spacious single-family home. The bedroom is situated off the family room, offering privacy and separation from the rest of the household, as all other family bedrooms are located upstairs.

Located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood, the home is close to parks and local cafés and offers convenient access to shops. Downtown Spokane is about 10 minutes by car, and Spokane International Airport (GEG) is approximately 15 minutes away.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Transport children to preschool and scheduled activities
    • Prepare healthy meals and snacks (breakfast & lunch) tailored to children’s dietary needs
    • Plan and engage in creative, developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor activities
    • Encourage emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured learning
    • Immerse the children in the Spanish language through conversation, music, books, and daily routines
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of children’s areas (bedrooms, play spaces, etc.)
    • Perform light housekeeping related to the children (e.g., laundry, tidying up after meals)
    • Travel with the family as needed for vacations or extended stays
    • Foster positive behavior and consistent routines
    • Communicate and collaborate with parents regularly regarding schedules, milestones, and needs

Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years childcare or nannying experience (required)
    • Experience caring for multiple young children simultaneously (required)
    • Fluent in Spanish and English (required )
    • Previous live-in nanny experience (preferred)
    • Energetic and active person that enjoys outdoor play and physical activities
    • Willingness to domestic travel with the family
    • CPR and First Aid certified
    • Ability to swim
    • Non-smoker
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States
$25 - $30 an hour
