Position: Part-Time Nanny

Hourly Rate: $25/hour
Guaranteed: 20 - 30 hours per week
Payroll: Above board payroll position
Job Overview: A family of three is seeking a dedicated and nurturing part-time nanny in Gulfport, Florida. This role involves caring for their twice-exceptional child and supporting their development through engaging activities. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and flexible, with a passion for working with children.
Schedule and Hours
Preferred Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
The family is flexible and open to scheduling on any day from Monday to Friday, as long as the days are agreed upon in advance to accommodate the right candidate.
Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, offering a guaranteed 20 to 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities Childcare Duties:
Potential School Drop-Offs:
Ensure the child is prepared and ready for school, including packing necessary items (lunch, school supplies).
Safely transport the child to school, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
Communicate with teachers or school staff as needed regarding the child's needs or any special instructions.
Assisting in Creating Weekly Activities:
Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that cater to the child's unique interests and abilities.
Activities may include educational games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and sensory experiences to enhance learning and development.
Prepare a weekly schedule that balances educational activities with fun, ensuring the child remains engaged and motivated.
Monitor and assess the child’s progress and interests, adjusting activities as needed to align with their developmental goals.
Foster an environment that encourages creativity, exploration, and emotional growth, helping the child navigate their feelings and challenges.
Transportation: Use the family's Tesla to drive the child to activities (car provided)
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in childcare
Certifications:
CPR/First Aid required; ability to produce appropriate certifications; experience with neurodivergence and education is a plus
Languages:
Proficient in English
Non-Smoking: The home is strictly non-smoking
Background Checks: Willingness to undergo state, local, and federal background checks, DMV audit, and reference checks
