Start Date: ASAP
Children: One child
Schedule: Weekday flexibility, 3 weeks on, 1 week off
Options: 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM
On-call: Occasional weekends and late nights (up to 10:30 PM)
Responsibilities:
- Engage the child with music, dancing, museum visits, art classes, and other enriching activities.
- Support and enhance homeschooling efforts; the child participates in online school from noon to 2:30 PM, with parents teaching in the morning. This includes:
- Assisting with and facilitating curriculum-based activities and educational projects.
- Providing additional educational support in subjects where the child may need extra help.
- Creating and implementing supplemental learning activities that align with the child’s interests and learning goals.
- Tracking and reporting the child’s academic progress to parents.
- Assist with farm-related activities, including educating the child about sustainable farming practices.
- Participate in and facilitate hands-on learning experiences related to farming, such as gardening, and harvesting.
- Provide driving as needed.
- Cook and support the child’s interest in becoming a chef, including preparing farm-fresh meals and involving the child in cooking activities.
$40 - $45 an hour
