Compensation: $28–$32 per hour, based on experience

A lovely family of four in Parkland, Florida, is seeking a Part-time Nanny/ Professional Educator to join their household and provide loving, consistent care for their two children. This position is ideal for a mature, patient, and nurturing professional with a strong foundation in early childhood education and a genuine passion for child development.
The family is seeking someone who is fully present and engaged—invested in nurturing the children’s emotional, social, and academic growth. A love of reading, creativity, and enriching activities is essential. As their son has a peanut allergy, vigilance and a strong sense of responsibility regarding safety and health are critical.
The ideal candidate will also support the household with light duties related to the children, such as preparing simple meals, handling their laundry, and maintaining clean, organized play and learning spaces. Strong communication and collaboration with the parents are key to ensuring a smooth, consistent daily routine and a long-term partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent, engaged care during after-school hours.
- Prepare and serve light, healthy meals and snacks for the children.
- Maintain daily structure, routines, and a calm, nurturing atmosphere.
- Ensure play areas, homework spaces, and children's belongings are kept tidy.
- Handle children’s laundry and assist with other light household tasks related to the children.
- Assist with homework and reinforce concepts from school.
- Design and lead age-appropriate educational activities and projects.
- Encourage reading, creativity, and critical thinking through enriching play and learning.
- Foster curiosity and a love of learning using imaginative and developmentally appropriate approaches.
- Collaborate with parents to support each child’s academic and developmental growth.
Educational Support:
Qualifications
- Background in early childhood education, homeschooling, or teaching (strongly preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in childcare
- Demonstrates a warm and engaging demeanor, with genuine enthusiasm for educating young children through interactive, developmentally appropriate activities.Excellent communication and organization skills
- Able to plan, implement, and adjust curriculum or learning activities based on each child’s growth, interests, and developmental needs
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Non-smoker
$28 - $32 an hour
