Accounting Coordinator
As an early member of our accounting and finance team, you’re responsible for a variety of business-critical accounting functions such as AP/AR, GL reconciliations, and payroll processing. You’ll work with a variety of leaders and team members across the organization to help shape its future. What You'll Be Doing

    • General ledger reconciliations and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts
    • Monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
    • Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules (reconciliations, roll-forwards)
    • Payroll processing and maintenance utilizing Namely 
    • Ensure all payroll accounting entries are complete, accurate, and recorded in a timely manner
    • Validate employee earnings with supporting documentation
    • Responsible for compiling all supporting documentation for account balances 
    • Provide support to auditors as required
    • Partner with the operations team and perform daily inquiries on unusual transactions
    • Assist in improving, developing and documenting accounting policies, procedures and internal controls

How We Know You Can Do It

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
    • 3-5 years of a mix of public accounting and private industry experience
    • Interest in building a successful Corporate Accounting organization, stepping outside your comfort zone to provide support in all areas of need
    • Strong software skills with a proficiency with Excel and familiarity with Oracle
    • Ability to document procedures and workflow in assigned areas of responsibility
    • Articulate accounting policies and procedures to non-accounting departments
    • Servant leadership mindset and the ability to positively lead others in role has always set you apart from peers
    • Efficient working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
    • Smart, ambitious and motivated and don’t take yourself too seriously
    • Hungry to develop your skills and take on more responsibilities quickly
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (fluent in English)
    • Exercise sound judgment to proactively communicate concerns to leadership in a timely manner
    • Willingness to work flexibly to support the ever-changing priorities of the team
    • Passionate, proactive self-starter with the ability to solve problems and execute independently
    • Strong team spirit and able to work effectively in collaboration with others, coordinating across teams and building consensus
