As a member of the lean HR team, you’re a key resource to internal customers, assisting them in identifying human capital solutions. You’ll work with a variety of leaders and team members across the organization to help shape its future. With a focus on identifying opportunities for departmental and team growth, you’ll manage the full lifecycle of hiring from position creation through a new-hire’s first day. As with all Helm team members, your passion for delivering world-class service, even when a clear path forward isn’t evident, is what sets you apart. Because we’re building from the ground-up, your role and responsibilities will grow over time and you will be directly involved in their evolution. You will get to try on multiple hats, experiment, and have creative influence in how our teams are built. You’ll also have the opportunity to immerse yourself in new and exciting human resources challenges within benefits administration, performance management, and HR software administration, just to name a few.

What You'll Be Doing

    • Assist hiring managers in vetting team needs
    • Work with hiring managers to create and post comprehensive job descriptions
    • Develop collaborative relationships with key partners to understand hiring objectives and develop recruiting strategies to hit goals
    • Coordinate with Executive leadership to ensure position and budget approval for all new requisitions
    • Write and publish job descriptions on career websites, job boards, and social platforms
    • Maintain all social recruitment efforts
    • Identify and interview candidates via phone and face-to-face interviews to determine a candidate’s fit with Helm
    • Create an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
    • Own Helm’s applicant tracking system - ensure the use of all available features that aid in automation
    • Coordinate and implement new digital tools that make the team more efficient
    • Create and maintain a consistent, documented hiring roadmap
    • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and best practices to help the team succeed

How We Know You Can Do It

    • 1-2 years of agency recruitment experience, ideally in a high-volume environment
    • Smart, ambitious and motivated and don’t take yourself too seriously
    • Strong technical aptitude
    • You’re hungry to develop your skills and take on more responsibilities quickly. With our ambitious expansion plans, we’re looking for new leaders to help us grow!
    • You have a true passion for customers – you’re obsessed with getting them the right outcomes and becoming their advocate 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (fluent in English) and have an ability to influence and steer internal customers, and spot opportunities to help
    • You exercise sound judgment to proactively communicate concerns to leadership in a timely manner
    • Willingness to work flexibly to support the ever-changing priorities of the team
    • Passionate, proactive self-starter with the ability to solve problems and execute independently
    • Strong team spirit and able to work effectively in collaboration with others, coordinating across teams and building consensus
