So what will you be doing all day? You would join us as a Commissioning Energy Manager working on things like...

    • Overseeing and coordinating all aspects of retro-commissioning projects
    • Managing proposals and contracts
    • Directing project retro-commissioning and schedules
    • Coordinating and maintaining commissioning deliverables and project related documents
    • Managing client service and communication
    • Creating and monitoring budgets and financials
    • Supervising Commissioning Agents & Technicians
    • Assisting with the development of accurate retro-commissioning measure (RCM) budgets for projects for inclusion in final report
    • Serving as a third-party commissioning representative responsible for project success for the client/end user
    • Supervising energy related projects for studies and/or audits
    • Calculating energy related data and analysis utilizing EQUEST, Excel and EnergyStar
    • Assisting with the development of accurate energy conservation measure (ECM) budgets for projects for inclusion in final report
    • Serving as a brand ambassador and primary project/program contact
    • Directing guidance of business development efforts in relation to building solutions across sectors
    • Pursuing and using up-to-date technical expertise and industry knowledge to assist commissioning group in developing plans for the growth and development of the commissioning group’s energy related expertise and knowledge
    • Working toward standardizing energy and retro-commissioning project deliverables, calculations and processes

We'd love for you to apply for this position if you have the following...

    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of construction or engineering, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Science, Construction Engineering or Construction Management (strongly preferred)
    • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in commissioning, design or construction of new and existing buildings (required)
    • OSHA-10 certification (required)
    • Industry specific certification such as an EMP or AEE (preferred)
    • Have functional knowledge of EQUEST, Trane Trace and EnergyStar (strongly preferred)
    • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel, Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project
    • Effective project management skills
    • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards relating to the facilities in which work is performed
    • Ability to identify and understand relevant emerging technologies and industry trends
    • Must be a strategic thinker and planner, bringing opportunities back to leadership to evaluate and potentially implement
    • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and to recommend and analyze pragmatic solutions for clients
    • Travel required up to 50% of the time
Anticipated salary range for this position may be $100,000 - $125,000
