So what will you be doing all day? You would join us as a Site Superintendent working on things like...

    • Assists in creating the final schedule with the subcontractors and suppliers along with HBS internal scheduling staff and all other internal clients.
    • Provides input on the schedule of values and maintains the percentages complete on site of all activities for billing purposes.
    • Polices all site logistics for maximum efficiency and so client operations are never interrupted.
    • Collaborates with director of safety to maintain strict compliance with the HBS safety plan.  I.E. All subs will have PPE at all times on site.
    • Ensures labor continuity should there be labor disruption or the threat of disruption.
    • Client must be well communicated with so project schedule is maintained should a disruption occur.
    • Must work with client to accommodate labor dispute resolution i.e. Two gates, one for union and one for non-union.
    • Implements and maintains the HBS QC plan for the project.
    • Communicates to the CM any or all QC concerns to have a plan of action developed.
    • Implements plan of action without disruption to the schedule unless agreed to by client.

We'd love for you to apply for this position if you have the following...

    • Minimum 7+ years of experience in field construction supervision as a superintendent or foreman.
    • OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
    • Experience working in a data center environment (strongly preferred).
    • Graduate of applicable trade school is preferred, but not mandatory.
    • Prior supervisory experience, including development and oversight of field crews (strongly preferred).
    • Thorough understanding of Federal, multi-state and local construction safety regulations.
    • Familiarity with construction industry practices, quality control processes and standards.
    • Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement necessary corrective measures.
    • Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
    • Superior interpersonal skills, such as diplomacy, persuasion, assertiveness, and managerial courage.
    • Excellent ability to establish and foster effective professional relationships with others, including employees at all levels of the organization, vendors, contractors, etc.
    • Effective time management and organizational skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills. 
    • Ability to successfully navigate in a variety of settings, including on project sites.
    • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Routine driving to local/regional project sites required.
    • Valid driver’s license required.
    • Occasional overnight travel to other regional offices and/or remote project sites is required.
Anticipated salary range for this position may be $100,000 - $140,000
Salary may be higher or lower than the stated range depending on factors unrelated to the applicant’s race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ethnicity, age, or disability. Salary can vary from this range based on geographic cost of labor statistical differentials.
