So what will you be doing all day? You would join us as a Mechanical Designer/Engineer - Sports/Venue working on things like…
- Traveling to project sites to verify existing conditions, observe construction progress, and conformance of the installation with the applicable design documents
- Assist in resolving conflicts involving owners, architects and contractors as needed
- Performing advanced calculations and designs of mechanical engineering systems
- Preparing system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics
- Performing research and making recommendations as to the feasibility of systems or conformance to plans and specifications
- Maintaining internal project construction administration schedules, responses, and contracts as needed
- Providing coordination of project designs with other disciplines
- Communicating effectively with clients and being an outward facing member of the design team
- Assisting with developing, establishing, and maintaining relationships with strategic partners and customers
- Responsible for project coordination activities such as coordinating scope and schedule, coordinating design team, attending owner/architect/construction meetings, ensuring project quality, responding to client questions, and coordinating project delivery

- Have a Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering preferred. Years of relevant experience in management position will be considered in lieu of requisite education.
- Possess at 4+ years of experience in mechanical design on commercial building projects
- Have a PE license (preferred)
- Are experienced communicating with external clients and customers and basic project management responsibilities
- Have advanced proficiency in technical knowledge, the A&E industry, building energy codes, and standards relating to a broad range of practice, project, or program types
- Are experienced in complex commercial projects
- Possess excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Are comfortable using AutoCAD, Revit MEP and engineering modeling tools (preferred)
- Have the ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design
- Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Anticipated salary range for this position may be $65,000 - $99,000
Salary may be higher or lower than the stated range depending on factors unrelated to the applicant’s race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ethnicity, age, or disability. Salary can vary from this range based on geographic cost of labor statistical differentials.
