So what will you be doing all day? You would join our Venue Sector as a Project Manager working on things like…

    • Providing oversight and coordination on projects for top Henderson clients
    • Working in conjunction with other team members across the Venue Sector - which consists of projects in Aviation, Convention Centers, Arenas, Training, Stadia, etc.
    • Directing design and communication efforts from concept design through completion according to the client’s requirements
    • Partner with Sector and Practice leadership to support regional business development strategies to support their practice or sector
    • Demonstrates leadership and passion in developing, establishing, and maintaining relationships with strategic partners and customers in support of and to expand business opportunities
    • Participates in local client, company and/or industry events to build and maintain professional relationships
    • Regularly communicating with regional clients and effectively identifying potential or future opportunities in the Venue Sector
    • Prioritizing and executing multiple tasks including preparing proposals and contracts, developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring project performance, and ensure project deliverables meet project objectives and expectations
    • Maintaining a strong team camaraderie while resolving project related conflicts and delegating tasks for results-focused efficiency
    • Coach and mentor project/program team members
    • Make recommendations, to Practice, Operations and Technical leadership to align training, development, and mentoring of staff
    • Recognize and resolves project conflicts, balancing the interest of internal and external stakeholders
    • Utilizing effective client service skills and providing a key communication link for project coordination
    • Traveling for detailed site investigations and client meetings

We'd love for you to apply for this position if you…

    • Have a Bachelor of Science degree in any engineering, construction management, science, technology, or business preferred. Years of relevant experience in management position will be considered in lieu of requisite education.
    • Have 8+ years of relevant experience with design and/or construction on a variety of commercial building projects
    • Have 2+ years of relevant experience with project management experience for mid to large size projects
    • Have a passion for solidifying and nurturing current client and staff relationships
    • Are excited about building our client base through networking and identifying new opportunities
    • Possess excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Possess a fundamental understanding of building design and construction principles
    • Are organized, detail-oriented, and have a high focus on client/customer service
    • Have the ability to meet fast-paced deadlines and meeting client's needs for responsiveness while maintaining quality design
    • Possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred)
    • Possess a project management certification is a bonus but certainly not required
Anticipated salary range for this position may be $80,000 - $115,000.
Salary may be higher or lower than the stated range depending on factors unrelated to the applicant’s race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ethnicity, age, or disability. Salary can vary from this range based on geographic cost of labor statistical differentials.
