We’re looking for an IT Support Specialist who thrives on solving tech challenges and helping people get back on track quickly. From password resets and printing problems to PC troubleshooting and VOIP support, you’ll be the first friendly face (or voice) our team turns to. What will a typical day look like?
- Provide assistance to computer system users within the company by phone, email or ticketing system (Ie. Slack); troubleshoot and resolve basic computer, application, system, device, access, or performance issues.
- Uses established processes and procedures to document, track, and resolve reported problems and to meet operational service levels and standards.
- Utilize product information or solution database to research, troubleshoot, and deliver solutions.
- Advises users on the methods, steps, and actions to resolve and avoid future issues and provides documentation as needed.
- Escalates problems to appropriate levels or teams to achieve issue resolution.
- May support installs or upgrades of software or devices, set up user profiles, or reset passwords.
- Support is in charge of keeping current systems updated and running smoothly.
- Upgrade systems and its components when the need arises.
- Evaluate system potential through assessing compatibility of new programs with existing programs.
- Improve existing programs by evaluating objectives and specifications, reviewing proposed changes and making recommendations.
- Maintain system functionality by testing computer components.
- Maintain client confidence by keeping their information confidential.
- Any other duties as assigned.

Are you our next IT Support Specialist?
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is helpful but not required
- Workplace experience in the field is preferred but not necessary
- Excellent interpersonal skills in-person and over the phone (patience a must).
- Understanding of Windows Operating Systems.
- Comfort with PC hardware troubleshooting.
- Willingness to learn new IT systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high customer service standards.
- Aptitude for communicating complex concepts to a general audience.
$27 - $31 an hour
*negotiable depending on prior experience
