Regional Sales Manager @ Hevo:

This role is for someone looking to create an impact by using a problem-solving and data-driven approach to build and scale a high-performing sales team for a top-in-class technology product. Over the next 3 years, we aim to scale our revenues 2-3x each year. 

To enable this journey, the Regional Sales Manager will play an extremely crucial role to identify the current gaps, coaching the existing team, hire A+ Sales talent, and running a dynamic and data-driven sales function, ultimately leading to more customer conversions.

Hence, the individual should have both the ability to understand and leverage data, a strong bias towards execution at speed, and strong collaboration skills to work with different teams and achieve the desired results. 

In this role, you will be expected to lead the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Own the Revenue Targets and P&L for the Function

    • Responsible for driving an annual revenue stream for the region you own (North America or EMEA or APAC)
    • Innovate and scale new growth initiatives across different sales plays: Inbound Sales, Outbound Sales, Account Management, and Channel Partnerships to generate new revenue streams

    • Creating an A+ Sales Team: Hiring and Coaching

    • Identify key players from the existing talent pool and coach them to become A+ Sales players
    • Scale the current team by hiring Account Executives, SDRs and Account Managers to convert more of the existing opportunities and tap new opportunities 

    • Drive Process Excellence

    • Identifying existing processes gaps (sales tools, skills, knowledge, etc.) and building playbooks to increase the effectiveness of the team
    • Work closely with Pre-sales to improve collaboration with customers and sales teams. Scale processes to drive sales proposals, POCs, etc.
    • Be a strategic partner to Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to help drive their charter

What would you bring to the table

    • 8+ years of experience with demonstrated impact in Sales
    • Work Experience - Sales experience preferred with an emphasis on databases, ETL, or Business Intelligence space 
    • Excellent communication, articulation, and interpersonal skills
    • Exceptional understanding of end-to-end sales for a global customer base across multiple plays (Inbound/Outbound/Expansion)
    • Hands-on experience in building and managing high-performance sales teams for at least 3-4 years
    • Been through the rigour of developing and implementing strategies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
    • Appreciation and experience in driving operational improvement across sales processes
    • Passion for understanding technology and technical products
