Rowan’s is looking for a Consultant for a period of approximately 20 weeks to help shape and drive our digital marketing strategies. This role involves growing ecommerce revenue, optimizing digital marketing efforts, and enhancing customer experience (CX) through innovative digital solutions. You will collaborate closely with the CMO, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), and other key stakeholders to drive ecommerce performance, manage digital marketing campaigns, and oversee website management and customer experience strategies.

What you'll do:

    • Define and execute ambitious digital marketing goals, strategies, and tactics to drive cost-effective customer acquisition and retention.
    • Enhance e-commerce revenue streams through strategic organic growth tactics and meticulous management of paid marketing spend, leveraging data to refine and adjust strategies dynamically.
    • Forecast and manage channel revenue, proactively identifying growth opportunities and developing contingency plans to address revenue shortfalls.
    • Ensure seamless integration of digital marketing strategies with Rowan's overarching integrated marketing initiatives, in close collaboration with the CMO and senior leadership.
    • Align digital marketing plans with Merchandise Planning team objectives, supporting revenue targets through tailored marketing strategies.
    • Develop a robust SEO strategy to increase organic traffic in partnership with cross-functional teams.
    • Direct website optimization for maximum conversion, collaborating with the Technology Team to implement effective landing page and on-page SEO strategies.
    • Build and lead a versatile digital marketing team, calibrating the mix of in-house talent and external agencies for peak performance and business outcomes.
    • Orchestrate a diversified paid marketing strategy, harnessing the power of search, social media, programmatic display, affiliates, and catalog marketing to captivate new customers.
    • Lead a dynamic cross-channel retention marketing strategy, optimizing customer engagement through a suite of channels and tools, including a premier Loyalty and Referral program developed with the CRO and COO.
    • Manage digital marketing budgets with precision, maintaining a sharp focus on ROI and efficient resource allocation.
    • Embrace a Mobile-First philosophy to optimize the conversion rate, utilizing continuous A/B testing, heat mapping, and customer feedback to refine digital touchpoints.
    • Collaborate with CMO, CRO, and Studio Leadership to drive e-commerce profitability, meticulously overseeing sales, budgets, and expenditure to enhance ROI.
    • Oversee the daily e-commerce sales calendar, ensuring optimal timing and execution of sales strategies.
    • Utilize analytics to constantly advance website performance and digital marketing effectiveness, setting the bar for campaign ROI.
    • Manage the collaboration with external partners and vendors across e-commerce engineering/development, SEO, and digital marketing to fuel innovation and growth.

What you bring to the table:

    • B.A./B.S. degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
    • A minimum of 7 years' experience in a marketing leadership role, with a strong background in digital marketing.
    • Proven experience in digital marketing, ecommerce management, and team leadership.
    • Expertise in SEO, A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Shopify).
    • Strong analytical skills and experience in utilizing data for decision-making.
    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage external vendor relationships.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and to lead teams through transformational initiatives.
