We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in working with and supporting the Legal department in various legal matters related to our business operations. This role requires a strong understanding of corporate law, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This role reports to General Counsel.
Eligibility for this position is limited to individuals residing in the New York City Metro, Washington, D.C., or Minneapolis metropolitan areas. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work onsite at an HHAeXchange office a minimum of two days per week, or as required by business needs, with the remaining time remote as approved by their manager

Essential Job Duties
- Prepare, draft, and review legal, regulatory, and operational documents, including customer and vendor contracts, regulatory filings, reports, and insurance applications.
- Assist with management of contract lifecycle, including contract tracking, renewal, and expiration.
- Maintain and organize legal documents, records, and files.
- Support the maintenance of corporate records, including shareholder records, board meeting minutes, and corporate resolutions.
- Assist in coordinating and preparing materials for board meetings and annual shareholder meetings.
- Collaborate with attorneys on various legal projects and initiatives.
- Assist with managing outside counsel and external legal spend.
- Provide assistance on special projects.

Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification.
- 5+ years’ experience as a paralegal, preferably with in-house experience in a legal department.
- Strong ethical standards and respect for confidentiality.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment.
- Proficient in legal research and document management.
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in documentation.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite.
- Comfort working independently and communicating with executives and senior management.
The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $70,000-$85,000, not including variable compensation. An employee’s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
