Title: Director, Product
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced, strategic, and data-driven Director, Product to join our team and lead both our product management and product design efforts. As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of our product offerings.
The Director, Product will oversee the development and execution of our product strategy, leading both product management and product design teams. In conjunction with the Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO), this role will be responsible for defining and driving the product vision, creating and maintaining a robust product roadmap, and ensuring alignment with company objectives. The Director, Product will work cross-departmentally with key stakeholders, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success, to gather feedback and communicate progress effectively. A deep understanding of data analytics will be crucial to making informed decisions and validating product vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy and Vision:
- Lead the product team in setting a clear and compelling product vision, aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Define and communicate a roadmap that reflects the company's objectives and meets the needs of our customers.
- Continuously assess and refine product strategy in response to changing market conditions, customer needs, and data insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the company (engineering, data and analytics, marketing, member operations, and commercial) to align product efforts with business goals and customer expectations.
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Partner with the marketing team to ensure the product's market positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy are aligned.
- Product Roadmap Execution:
- Oversee the creation and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery of features and updates.
- Partnering with the Director of Engineering, prioritize and manage feature requests and product improvements based on business impact, customer feedback, and data-driven insights.
- Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Use data and analytics to guide product decisions, validate hypotheses, and measure product performance.
- Ensure a strong feedback loop with customers and stakeholders to continuously iterate and improve the product.
- Leverage metrics and KPIs to track progress against goals and report on outcomes to senior leadership.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of product managers and product designers.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the product organization.
To be successful in this role you may have:
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving product strategy from concept to delivery.
- Experience with both product management and product design, with the ability to integrate both disciplines into cohesive product experiences.
- Strong data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to inform decision-making and validate product vision.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and mentor teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing short-term priorities with long-term strategic goals.

Pay Transparency:
For New York and California, the base salary range for this position is $210,000 - $225,000 annually. Outside of those states, the base salary range is $190,000 - $205,000 annually. In addition to salary, Cleo offers the following benefits: health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), 15 paid holidays, 5-day winter break, flexible vacation time, sick time, 16 weeks paid parental leave, 401(k) plan, disability insurance, life insurance, wellness perks, and more.
