Title: Chief Product & Technology Officer
Overview:
Cleo, the leader in end-to-end family caregiving space, driving meaningful and impactful outcomes through scalable technology, artificial intelligence, and integrated human services, is seeking a Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO). This role will report into the CEO directly and be a senior executive responsible for managing Cleo’s entire product strategy and development process, information security standards, and data strategy and insights. This role entails working closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Operations, and Sales, to define and execute Cleo’s product vision. The CPTO bridges the business strategy and the technical aspects of product development, ensuring that products meet customer needs and align with the organization's goals.
In this role, you will:
- Define product strategy and vision - define and align the product strategy with the overall business objectives, collaborate with stakeholders to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to develop a long-term product vision.
- Manage product development and roadmap - oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and prioritization to execution and release, working closely with your teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery while maintaining a clear product roadmap.
- Create an exceptional user experience - focus on creating exceptional experiences, both for members and clients, ensuring that products are intuitive and visually appealing and provide a seamless member journey, resulting in client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Analyze the market and conduct competitive intelligence - conduct thorough research to identify emerging trends, client preferences, and competitive landscapes, enabling you to make informed decisions regarding product positioning, differentiation, and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate cross functionally - collaborate with various departments to ensure effective communication, alignment, and coordination throughout product development.
- Lead a team of product and technical experts - define, build, recruit, and lead a high-performing product, development, security, and data teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement to drive product excellence.
- Present to all stakeholders - interact with stakeholders, including executives, investors, board members and industry members to present product strategies, roadmaps, and performance metrics. Effectively communicate value propositions and business impacts to gain alignment.
- Set and manage performance metrics - establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track product performance, customer satisfaction, and market success.

- Technical - Understand product development methodologies, emerging technologies, and industry trends. Be familiar with agile, lean practices, and UX/UI design principles and have strong technical insight to make informed decisions.
- Artificial Intelligence - Experience in leading AI-centric initiatives, successfully bringing them to market. Be familiar with relevant data privacy and AI security regulations, adapting to stay ahead of the curve, mitigating risks to the program.
- Business - Strong business understanding is essential to align product strategies with overall business objectives. Analyze market data, conduct financial evaluations, and have a keen sense of market dynamics to make data-driven decisions.
- Leadership - Be an effective leader capable of inspiring and motivating teams, set a clear vision, foster collaboration, and empower their team members to achieve their full potential.
- Communication - Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas, negotiate with stakeholders, and build strong relationships. Communicate the product vision, strategies, and performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial and adaptable - Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities, and demonstrated ability to work creatively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational - Attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple, large initiatives while maintaining employee engagement and performance.

Pay Transparency:
The base salary for this position is $300,000 - $325,000 annually. In addition to salary, Cleo offers the following benefits: health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), 15 paid holidays, 5-day winter break, flexible vacation time, sick time, 16 weeks paid parental leave, 401(k) plan, disability insurance, life insurance, wellness perks, and more.
