The Manager, Project Management will lead a regional team of project managers delivering EV charging infrastructure projects. The Manager, Project Management will directly manage key and complex projects. They will drive projects to completion on time and on budget, while supporting initiatives to improve the project management function.

The role will report directly to the Director, Project Execution. This role is based remotely with a 20% travel.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure the on time and on budget delivery of electric vehicle infrastructure projects
    • Lead project management activities on key and complex projects
    • Support the evolution and standardization of project management practice
    • Manage and mentor project management team members
    • Drive improvements to on time and on budget performance
    • Support development of construction standards and best practices
    • Support project management software selection and implementation
    • Support the evaluation of new equipment and software applications
    • Support cross functional efficiency and effectiveness initiatives

Qualifications

    • 10+ years office based professional experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree in technical field and 3+ years office based professional experience
    • 4+ years leading teams, both directly and indirectly
    • 3+ years leading engineering and construction teams
    • 4+ years directly leading engineering and construction projects
    • 1+ years of EV charging infrastructure delivery
    • Familiarity and experience with commercially available project management tools
    • Renewable energy delivery experience a plus (solar, storage, microgrid)
    • Direct experience utilizing one, and preferably more, project management software tools
