About the Role
Highspot’s rapidly growing Accounting team is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to help build the financial foundation of a company designed to scale. In this high-impact role, you’ll drive the evolution of our close and reporting processes, strengthen internal controls, and ensure operational excellence across functions.

You'll play a key role in standing up and optimizing finance operations for our India entity—developing core processes and controls that support accurate reporting and sustainable growth.

What You'll Do
- Own and lead the full financial statement preparation process—serve as the primary point of contact guiding the team through drafting, reviewing, and finalizing disclosures and footnotes, ensuring full compliance with US GAAP while delivering clear and accurate reporting.
- Serve as the primary liaison for the U.S. audit—own coordination of audit deliverables and timelines, partner closely with external auditors, and drive strategic conversations to influence audit outcomes and disclosure decisions, ensuring timely, clean, and well-managed results.
- Partner with operational accounting teams to execute efficient month- and quarter-end closes, including journal entry reviews, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Research, document, and advise on complex technical accounting matters - providing clear, actionable guidance across the business.
- Support Investor Relations by preparing accurate financial data and external-facing materials.
- Manage treasury functions including banking relationships, intercompany funding, cash positioning, and liquidity planning.
- Support the development of end-to-end processes and controls for our international entities, ensuring scalability, operational integrity, and financial accuracy.
- Maintain and evolve accounting policies, controls, and procedural documentation to support scalability and audit readiness.
- Identify, implement, and automate process improvements across the close and reporting cycles driving greater speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Tax, and IT to operationalize the accounting impact of new products, systems, and initiatives.
- Mentor, coach, and inspire a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of ownership, growth, and best-in-class execution.
Your Background
- 7+ years (+2 years in management) of relevant public accounting and/or industry experience.
- Fluency in U.S. GAAP and IFRS and ability to research and document complex accounting issues and findings.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with NetSuite, WorkDay and FloQast.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and driving automation with AI.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience with internal controls (design, implementation and execution).
- Demonstrated history of taking on various types of challenging projects and producing results.
- Ability to understand, evaluate, and develop end to end processes.
- CPA preferred.

Base salary range: $118,000 - $191,000. Employees are eligible to receive stock options and may also receive other forms of compensation.
The above represents total expected compensation for this role. Actual compensation will depend on various job-related factors, including, but not limited to, location, experience, and job qualifications.
