Developed by a coalition of San Diego civic leaders and educators, High Tech High opened in September 2000 as a small public charter school with plans to serve approximately 450 students.  HTH has evolved into an integrated network of sixteen charter schools serving approximately 6,350 students in grades K-12 across four campuses.

HTH seeks a Middle School Athletics Leader to lead middle school school-aged students' sports program. 

JOB SUMMARY
Our middle school sports program is an important part of our school experience!  We are looking for middle school sports lead to support our sports program by managing the logistics of the program and working with our coaches and administrators to create a wonderful experience for our middle school athletes. 

Duties include:
Organize game and practice schedules for middle school sports teams
Coach sports teams
Communicate with families regarding weekly schedules for practices and games
Organize transportation for away games 
Hold interest meetings for sports 
Boost energy and interest in our sports program by bringing the spirit! 
Work with our league to help design programming for middle school sports

The ideal candidate would possess the following competencies:
Ability to work well with middle school school-aged students
Highly organized
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Comfortable communicating with families and coaches
Passionate about sports 
Ability to work with diverse populations

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum 60-semester units of college coursework
Experience working with young people

SALARY & BENEFITS
