Above all, we envision a world where all hiring is equitable, efficient, and transparent and are committed to empowering connections between ambitious people and teams.

Using Hired, both candidates and employers have transparency into salary offers, competing opportunities, and unique preferences. By combining both our technology and human touch, our goal is to enrich and automate the recruiting process, enabling candidates to employ their potential and find a job they love. To date, Hired has helped over 3 million diverse, vetted candidates find new opportunities at over 17,000 companies throughout the United States, Canada, Ireland, and the UK.

The Analytics team at Hired uses data to help inform the company’s strategic decision-making. In this role, you will produce reports and dashboards that give visibility into Hired’s data, while providing insights that will help drive process improvements across the company. By partnering with the Revenue, Marketing, and Product teams, you will solve complex data problems, answer emerging data questions, and help tell the story of Hired’s data.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Create Looker dashboards and visualizations, and communicate findings to various stakeholders to aid with strategic decision making
    • Build and maintain LookML data models to ensure accurate and complete reporting
    • Run ad hoc reporting and analysis using a combination of Looker, SQL, and/or Google Sheets
    • Become familiar with data concepts across all departments (e.g. Product, Marketing, and Revenue) and make recommendations on reporting and data best practices
    • Generate new insights and make recommendations for improvements in a fast-paced and quickly evolving environment

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

    • 0-2+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, consulting, banking, or strategy and operations
    • Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field preferred
    • Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases required
    • Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on delivering actionable insights
    • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI, is a plus
    • Strong knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets and model building preferred
    • Experience with programming languages such as Python is a plus
    • Startup and/or SaaS experience is a plus

With the above said, we understand that no candidate is perfectly qualified for any job and believe that diversity of background and thought makes for better problem solving and creative thinking, which is why we're dedicated to adding new perspectives to the team. Even more important than your resume is a positive attitude, passion for the work, personal drive for growth, and the ability to thrive in a fluid and collaborative environment. We want you to learn new things in this role, and we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't align perfectly to what is listed here.
