The Finance, Strategy and Analytics group comprises our Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, and Partnerships teams and serves as a key partner to nearly every function in the organization. In this role you will partner closely with the Sr. Director of Finance, Strategy & Analytics as well as our Accounting, Revenue Operations and Data Analytics teams to help determine strategic priorities, monitor ongoing business performance and surface the key levers to positively impact company-level results. Your mission is to create and execute quarterly and annual planning, own, define and improve our core FP&A processes, use data and insights to inform strategy, and ultimately help scale our business in an efficient way.


    • Lead strategic and financial planning processes for the Hired organization in conjunction with the Sr. Director of Finance, Strategy & Analytics (Monthly Business Reviews, BvAs, Forecasts, Annual Budgeting, and Long Range Plan)
    • Establish frameworks for evaluating new opportunities and product initiatives to support decision making and prioritization.(e.g. market/opportunity sizing, unit economics, ROI, etc.)
    • Partner with other teams to find opportunities to create efficiencies, appropriate metrics to track business performance across Hired’s product suite 
    • Develop a thorough and detailed understanding of both our long term strategy as well as our core product and financial metrics (net dollar retention, cohort analysis, LTV / CAC, etc.)
    • Conduct complex data analyses and research that results in compelling recommendations cross-functionally across sales, marketing, and product
    • Partner closely with our HR to ensure sound and effective workforce planning that supports our central initiatives and allows us to deliver on our business goals
    • Support special projects to continuously improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting processes and methodologies


    • 5+ years of total work experience, including strategic finance at a high-growth technology startup or well-established company and/or tech-focused investment banking (at least some investment banking experience is strongly preferred)
    • Strong communication and presentation skills with a track record of presenting complex analysis to senior management
    • Excellent prioritization skills and ability to manage competing priorities
    • Advanced Excel skills; a plus if you have experience with Google suite and financial planning software, such as NetSuite or Oracle; SQL skills are a plus
    • Financial Modeling and an understanding of advanced corporate finance / accounting principles
    • Excellent ability to build relationships and networks with multiple functions, regions, and at all levels of the organization
