Above all, we envision a world where all hiring is equitable, efficient, and transparent and are committed to empowering connections between ambitious people and teams.

Using Hired, both candidates and employers have transparency into salary offers, competing opportunities, and unique preferences. By combining both our technology and human touch, our goal is to enrich and automate the recruiting process, enabling candidates to employ their potential and find a job they love. To date, Hired has helped over 3 million diverse, vetted candidates find new opportunities at over 17,000 companies throughout the United States, Canada, Ireland, and the UK.

We’re hiring a Lifecycle Marketing Lead to focus on key retention and expansion initiatives, with the goal of getting millions of candidates to fall in love with Hired over and over again. In this role, you will own dozens of automated campaigns, iterating on our omni-channel lifecycle strategy for candidates and employers, with most of the work leaning towards the candidate side of our marketplace.

This role requires a high degree of cross-functional collaboration with teams such as analytics, engineering, and product to plan and execute against shared goals, delivering seamless experiences across the website application and lifecycle channels. The ideal candidate will have produced innovative and engaging Lifecycle programs in results-driven environments, have proven success improving metrics across engagement, adoption, and retention goals, developed aggressive experiment pipelines for continuous innovation, all with a highly empathetic, customer-centric mindset.

What we need your help with:

    • Execute and expand the strategy for hyper-personalized, automated candidate and employer engagement and retention programs involving a mix of email and SMS, delivering best-in-class communications
    • KPI ownership around core drivers of retention using Lifecycle channels, with strong intuition and acumen to identify, size, and prioritize opportunities that inform a lifecycle roadmap to generate a meaningful contribution toward shared and team goals
    • Partnership with key stakeholders (Analytics, Engineering, and Product) to develop and deliver on shared strategies, executing against team/company goals for large cross-functional initiatives
    • Monitor performance of marketing programs, generate data-driven hypotheses that inform strategies for journeys and campaigns, and identify areas for improvement in our strategy
    • Continuously improve through the lifecycle experiment roadmap covering both short-term campaigns and long-term workflows, testing across incentives, creative, content, and cadence, deriving insights to tangibly impact initiatives across the org

What we look for:

    • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
    • 4+ years of lifecycle marketing manager or email campaign specialist experience
    • HTML/CSS for email
    • Experience working with, Iterable, or Braze
    • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
    • Communication and presentation skills

Nice to have:

    • Strong domain expertise in the HR/Recruiting industry
    • Experience coordinating multiple projects and delivering high-quality work on time
    • Knowledge with data and analytical approach to problem-solving to drive strategy and change
    • Experience driving internal product decisions
    • Experience working across functions and at all levels of the organization to collaborate and help influence action
With the above said, we understand that no candidate is perfectly qualified for any job and believe that diversity of background and thought makes for better problem solving and creative thinking, which is why we're dedicated to adding new perspectives to the team. Even more important than your resume is a positive attitude, passion for the work, personal drive for growth, and the ability to thrive in a fluid and collaborative environment. We want you to learn new things in this role, and we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't align perfectly to what is listed here.
