This position requires a diverse background in paid search, Google Display, Gmail and YouTube to work across our portfolio of brands. This individual is part of the media team and serves a critical role in planning, activating, optimizing and
reporting on key platforms within the Google Suite, Bing, etc.
Responsibilities
- Active participant in internal program kick-off meetings. Provides historical knowledge to help guide success metric benchmarks, landing page content, persona profiles, etc., as well as new thinking from an ever-evolving Google Suite.
- Develops budget and strategic recommendations for the Media Strategist to incorporate into the overall media plan.
- Sets up campaigns, developing keyword lists, creating Ad Groups, writing ads, setting up targeting (geo, demo, mobile) and creating GDN and YouTube segments (custom-intent, affinity, etc.).
- Works closely with the AdOps team to ensure all tracking is in place and is working properly.
- Creates Google Suite/Bing strategy slides for media strategists as needed.
- Depending on client, may have some contact and opportunities to present search strategies/tactics/results.
- Pulls Google Suite reporting and provides analysis for Media Strategist.
- Constantly monitors Google Suite performance and recommends/implements optimizations as necessary.
- Creates A/B landing page and/or ad copy test to determine optimal combinations.
- Is an active researcher and, when appropriate, pushes clients to test new offerings in the Google Suite space.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in related field
- Minimum of two years of paid search experience.
- Certifications in Google Search, Display, Mobile, and Video, as well as knowledge of DV360 and/or Paid Social Media, are preferred.
- Expertise in all aspects of the Google offerings: Pay-Per-Click, Google Display
- Network, YouTube, Gmail, Google Play, etc.
- Ability to strategically evaluate opportunities and make data-driven decisions resulting in tangible performance improvements.
- Flexibility & ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- A strong communicator with a can-do, positive attitude and a strong desire to get things done
